Facilities and Equipment
SHIRE Lab facilities consist of a dedicated dry lab space in the Anthropology building for participant interviews and surveys, anthropometrics, lab meetings, and independent and collaborative student work. Available equipment includes:

Additionally, the SHIRE Lab shares wet lab space in the Anthropology building. The wet lab is a BSL-2 facility fully equipped for enzyme immunoassays in saliva, blood, and hair samples. The SHIRE Lab works with a variety of analytes, such as cortisol, testosterone, oxytocin, interleukin-6, and C-reactive protein.
